The INCA Collection is a collaboration between designer Camila Felizardo of Gold Coast label Bahagia Designs and Marissa Bowden and Sarah Schoeller of online store The Hanging Space.
Bowden and Schoeller wanted to create a collection of on-trend, unique and affordable statement jewelry exclusive to their online store, which stocks labels by talented emerging and independent Australian designers.
After collaborating on the design for each piece with Bowden and Schoeller, Felizardo, who originally hails from Brazil, used her high quality design, sculpture and craftsmanship to create a one-off collection inspired by the pyramids of ancient civilizations from Mexico and South America, reflecting the Incas and Aztecs.
Felizardo has avoided a mass produced range as seen in many main stream boutiques, by lovingly designing, sculpting and handcrafting each piece to produce a truly unique collection where not one piece is the same.
The collection is made up of a signature pyramid cuff and statement ring, as well as double knuckle rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings using both brass and the highest quality sterling silver to offer two different price points.
The INCA Collection is available online now at http://www.thehangingspace.com.au/ and is already proving to be a hit.
